On 21st June, the pupils who monitored their activity using their active days’ journals were rewarded with a day out at the Woop Trampoline Park. Once the students were shown a safety video and went through a warm up routine, they were let loose on the numerous trampolines and activities available, from dodge ball to basketball, amongst others. The students enjoyed their very active Active Days’ reward.

Today, the students woke up early in order to practice for one last time before the competition. They started by revising the study guides, then had a challenging debate and after that they wrote essays. In the meantime, they also rehearsed for the talent show where they will show off their dancing and singing skills, as well as promote Slovenia. In the evening, we all went to the Red Theatre to watch the amazing Kung Fu Show, which was visually stunning with martial arts skills and a nice story line.

Thursday, 20th June, 2019, saw the denouement at Danila Kumar International School, the Final Event. Each grade gave their own unique take on what the year meant to them, with a variety of nuanced performances. 3M performed a rap, 1M shared their experience with water, while others danced and sang, amongst other things. Along with these fine performances, there were also accompaniments including the melodic choir and musical acts, the thunderous drummers and a recital in the french language. The event was held together with grace and finesse by the two wonderful presenters, and the audience was full of praise and adulation for everyone on stage.
