Today, 2M paid a visit to Slovenia’s National Gallery, in the centre of Ljubljana. The pupils were given the task of looking for Gal, a green dwarf resident at the gallery, while observing many paintings in the numerous halls of the gallery.

Today, DKIS welcomed parents and family members to Portfolio Night: A chance for students to share their best pieces of work they have produced over the first term with their families and give a greater insight into how the PYP and MYP programmes work. Students were eager to show what they had accomplished up to now, and parents alike delighted in seeing their children’s progress. A very interesting, thought provoking and enlightening way for parents to share in their children’s success.

This Tuesday, December 10, the students of 1M explored learning through a variety of inclusive activities. They started the day by using their 5 senses in order to describe the place around them. The pupils made use of their senses again to take part in an activity that had them describing what they smelt, tasted and heard. To end the wonderful day, the students researched questions they had about the human body on computers. The students had a fun filled day exploring their knowledge and expanding their mind.
