On 22nd September, the MYP students participated in a Cultural Day, which explored the topic of space. Their artwork will be entered into the international art contest of the American Space Foundation. This year’s theme was “Space through my eyes”.
The students explored the watercolour and salt technique for the background and could choose form various media to create their motif. The focus was on their imagination and being risk-takers.
It appeared that the students enjoyed dabbling with a new art technique, and they produced some very interesting and well-made pieces of art. We hope some of them will make the cut and enter the competition.
