On the weekend of 2 and 3 February, our school hosted the Regional Round of the World Scholar’s Cup competition. Students from 45 primary and secondary schools in Slovenia, Austria, Italy, and Serbia, collaborating in teams of three, competed in debate, writing, and some other disciplines.

On Saturday, we hosted the challenges in our school; on Sunday, the event was held at the Cankarjev dom convention centre, where our students not only participated in the Debate Showcase, but also showed their talents in the showcase.

33 students from our school participated in the event and achieved great results.
Congratulations once again to all the students, their mentors Anja Dežman, Mateja Kores, Klemen Strmljan, Nik Arcet, Andreja Mandeljc and Katarina Lovenjak, and a big thank you to all the staff members who helped organise the event.
