Our Service project journey for MYP 1 and MYP 2 has successfully concluded for this school year. The pupils went through a long process of investigating and addressing the needs of different communities through service action. They needed to address their service actions through the lens of the main theme: “Be part of the solution, not the pollution”.
To conclude their actions and defined goals they listened to the presentation of Dr Katarina Polajnar Horvat, a researcher at ZRCSAZU Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Science and Arts, about how to raise environmental awareness and behaviour, through visuals such us comic strips.
The pupils were very creative, and this school year presented their work through visual representations.
I would like to congratulate the pupils and their mentors for their dedication, hard work and flexibility.
