The first two weeks of October are usually dedicated to celebrating Slovenian Cultural Heritage. This year our topic is traditional Slovenian food.
On Tuesday, 5 October, MYP Students will prepare a timeline of school meals and still lives of interesting historical events from 1961 until today. At the same time, this timeline will celebrate the 60th anniversary of Danila Kumar Elementary school.
Students will have an introductory lesson, three lessons on drawing or painting their still life, and a reflection lesson. The best artworks will be exhibited at the opening of the exhibition, on Thursday 7 October.
School meals will be served as usual, and lessons will end at 1.00 pm.
