Dear parents,
The entire last week of the month (23 – 29 May 2022) will be dedicated to the MYP students’ portfolio presentations. We kindly ask you to take some time together with your child and observe what they have been working on throughout this school year. Our students have been collecting their best work in their online portfolios, although they can also show you their assignments in paper form as well as in their notebooks. After checking their portfolio, we ask you to fill out a short questionnaire to reflect on your child’s work (you will receive the link via email on Monday).

On Monday, 23 May, the MYP will have a Cultural day at The Ljubljana Opera House. They will watch the opera ‘The Sound’, created by the composer Rok Golob.
Students will arrive at school at the usual time, leaving by bus at 10.00 am. They will take the city bus to the city centre and walk to the location. The opera performance begins at 11.00 am. When they return to school, they will do the evaluation task. Lunch will be scheduled as usual.

On Monday, 23 May, the whole MYP will have a Cultural day in The Ljubljana Opera House. They will watch an opera performance – The Sound, created by the composer Rok Golob.
Students will arrive at school at 8.20 am. First, they will discuss the content of the opera. Then, at 9.30 am, they will have snack, and at 10.15 am, they will take the city bus to the city centre and walk to the location. The opera performance starts at 11.00 am and ends at around 12.30 pm. At 12.45 pm, they will take the city bus back to the school. When they return to school, they will do a short reflection and then go to lunch.
