Moro Foundation Contest – Freedom

On Tuesday the 26th November, students from both national and international departments participated in an annual contest organised by the Moro Foundation. The students had the opportunity to be creative by writing different types of artistic texts on the topic of freedom. Students from 1st grade created a picture of their name and added symbols that represent freedom for them, 2nd and 3rd grade students wrote acrostic poems, 4th and 5th grade students were creating 11 word poems (elevenses) and students from higher grades created comic strips. The winners will be announced in December, before the holidays. We would like to thank all the students for participating and the Moro Foundation for organising the event.

Russian Centre for Science and Culture Visit

On Friday, November 22nd, students visited the Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Ljubljana. We saw an exhibition of paintings and became acquainted with the activities and mission of the Centre. Students also enjoyed short children’s animated films based on Russian folk tales.
