FINAL GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS AND PARENTS BEFORE

21st LJUBLJANA MARATHON

Students have received race numbers and school T-shirts in which they will compete at the marathon. The race numbers of the MYP students also include chipping devices. Please handle them with special care, since they are not supposed to be bent. You don’t need to return the race numbers. During the event students are parents’ responsibility. Students run on their own, without teachers or parents. When students cross the finish line, they should look for the OŠ Danile Kumar flag, because there we will meet. They will return school T-shirts there and receive a T-shirt as a token of the 21st Ljubljana marathon and a diploma.

Then we went to the Municipal Museum where we learnt about Idrija’s past right up until the present day. After this we went to the gorge where the Franja Partisan Hospital is situated, where it was revealed how this hospital took care of people during the 2nd world war without being discovered by the enemy. Despite the rain, everyone had a great and thought provoking day!
