On Wednesday, 23rd November, the school’s First Lego League competition team attended the Super Powered robot game training session at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Ljubljana. The goal of the training session was to demonstrate the completed solutions produced by individual teams up to now, to collaborate with other teams by sharing ideas, to learn through the judges’ feedback and to have fun while assembling innovative robots and coding them. The students enjoyed it and didn’t want to leave at the end.
Today, 4M students visited Ljubljana centre, where they decorated one of the many mini Christmas trees displayed around Prešeren square with decorations made by the DIY students. After decorating the tree, they visited the Town Hall and were offered a snack. All the students had a great time and enjoyed the outing.
On 18 November we commemorated the day of Slovenian food and of the Slovenian traditional breakfast. For this reason all students in Slovenia received bread, butter, honey, Milk and an Apple. This event helps us increase awareness about local food for our health and the protection of local production and the environment. The students wolfed it down, nothing better than buttered bread!
