After a short cultural programme prepared by the choir of grade 2 and 3 students of national programme, the cheerleaders from the international department and the parent-teacher choir “Na istem bregu”, our headmistress, Mrs. Mojca Mihelič and the mayor of Ljubljana, Mr. Zoran Janković addressed students, parents and teachers. The culmination of the event was the football match between Danila Kumar Football Academy players and our teachers and parents. The mayor of Ljubljana, Mr. Janković joined the academy players and excelled with his engaged and energetic performance. We hope his fancy shoes (he did not play in trainers) survived the 20 minute match well and that Mrs. Janković was not too upset about their condition. The final score was 3:3.
The event continued with the Fun Run. There were quite a lot of students who did all 20 laps. At the same time sports games were organized in the dome for those who did not participate in the Fun Run.
We especially liked the relaxed and positive climate of the event. It was fun and entertaining. Those who wanted to could have lots of exercise.We have already collected 270 EUR for our new investment – the heating system for the dome. We would like to thank all the runners and Mrs. Radulović for their contribution.
