On 13th June our students had a joint sports day with ISC School form Corinthia. We have already established a tradition of joint collapsed days and the success of this one was no exception. PYP students had a splash in Atlantis Swimming Centre and Adventure Park, while MYP students enjoyed a friendly competitive spirit playing baseball at Ježica Baseball Centre.
It was a joyful and successful day, where old friends met again and new friendships were forged. We are already looking forward to next year’s reunion.

K1 children created different arts and crafts on 8th and 9th June. They made a fish collage, modeled clay, coloured fabric bags and drew with chalk.

Grade 4 had a cultural day on Friday, 9th June. We traced the path around the remains of Ancient Emona, modern day Ljubljana. We walked by the Roman wall, visited an Emonan house, in which we saw how Emona’s heating worked, and went to the Early Christian Centre, where we located Emona’s first baptistery, and had a sneak peak of what life was like in Roman Emona.

On Thursday, June 8th, students of the Slovenian and International Department took part in the Talent Show. They danced, sang, and played the piano..some of the performances were really interesting. Congratulations to all!

END OF FOOTBALL SEASON
We would like to inform all parents and players of Danila Kumar soccer academy that training will end in the last week of school: 1.group (5. – 8.g) in 3.group (K1 -2.r) – Wednesday, 21. 6. 2017, 2.group (3. – 4.r) – Thursday, 22. 6. 2017.
There will be no training in July! The football season will start again in August (team U8 in U10 – 23. 8. 2017), we will inform you about the schedule.
APPLICATION OF TEAMS FOR COMPETITION IN 2017/2018 SEASON AND REGISTRATION OF NEWS PLAYERS:
We are informing all parents that players who want to take part in the MNZLJ league have to be registered in the Football Federation Slovenia. That is why we would like you to bring/send the following items in the international office or to coaches as soon as possible:
- Photocopy of ID (passport or ID card)
- Signed consent form to register a player
- Copy of health insurance card
- Newest photo (not older than two months) for all players who have not taken photos at the club.
