We woke up on a snowy morning. During skiing we had some trouble with the wind, nevertheless we had a lot of fun. After lunch and an afternoon nap, we had different activities (cross country skiing, different games on the snow and a short lesson on FIS rules). We completed our day at the disco, where we danced in our masks.

On Monday, 12 February, we arrived in Kope and settled in our rooms. Lunch was already waiting for us. After lunch we went to the ski slope and practiced some turns on the newly fallen snow. In the evening we went for a night walk.

On Saturday, 10 February, the students of Danila Kumar participated in Zmajev karneval – the Dragon’s Carnival in the centre of Ljubljana. This event, organised by the City of Ljubljana, was part of the Pust celebrations, the farewell to winter, although, it was still quite cold and there was a lot of snow. There was a festive, joyful atmosphere, and a lot of “pustni krofi” – traditional Slovenian carnival doughnuts.
