Following on from the previous week’s service project presentations, from the 15th to the 17th of April, the 8th grade had their chance to enlighten their classmates, teachers and parents with their projects, the primary aim being to benefit the community. The subjects covered, again transversed a vast array of issues: global warming, homelessness, animal shelters, muscle regeneration in space, healthy eating, and anxiety disorders amongst many others. The presenters proved themselves to be very competent and dealt deftly with challenging and articulate questioning from those gathered in attendance, who will surely contemplate in depth the many issues raised.
