Year 8 Klagenfurt Trip

On Friday, May 10th, our pupils took a trip to Klagenfurt together with the students from the national department. They visited Affenberg (Monkey Mountain), where they witnessed Macaque monkeys closer than they have ever experienced. This was followed by a visit to Minimundus (miniature world) where they viewed famous buildings from all over the world, at the scale of 1:25. The day finished in Klagenfurt city centre where the students had a quick tour of the most famous sights. They enjoyed nice weather and spending time together.

3 & 4M Cultural Day – The 13th Biennale of Slovenian Illustration

On Thursday, May 9th, The pupils of 3 & 4M were given the opportunity to step inside the creative and diverse world of Slovenian illustration with the 13th staging of the Biennale (Biannual), which honours the finest achievements with awards in the name of Hinko Smrekar, a famous Slovenian illustrator. The event brought together and celebrated a host of young and old illustrators whose inspiration was as wide and varied as the numerous techniques they employed. The students were given worksheets to complete which navigated them around the exhibition with the help of a very informative guide. The artwork stirred and animated the students, who surely gained incentive and inspiration for illustration from their experience.
