Community Project Presentations

Our MYP 3 classes have completed yet another milestone in their school year, the Community Project Presentations on May 18th and 19th, respectively. The audience and the mentors were extremely proud of their commitment, the quality of presentations and the contribution in our lively online debate. Despite having the presentations in a never-before held form, via a Teams meeting, everything went smoothly and we had two very successful collapsed days. I would like to congratulate all presenters and their mentors and thank them for their flexibility, professionalism and a true exhibition of IB learner profiles. Well done!

1M Science Day – Plants

After coming back to school, the first graders already spent the second day focusing on science concepts. The pupils were as busy as bees investigating and trying to find answers to questions like: Why are plants important? What are they used for? What is pollination? What is pollen? And who are pollinators? They created some posters in which they recorded their findings. They also learnt about World Bees Day and recreated some Slovenian traditional beehives.
