On Wednesday 27th September, the PYP students were treated to a sports day at the GIB centre, located in the Šiška district of Ljubljana. There was many activities to enjoy, bouncing in the trampoline room, jumping and vaulting in the gymnastics area, playing ball games and testing their competitiveness with an introduction to Judo. Judging from the comments on the journey back to school, the students had a great time.

RENOVATIONS
As part of Ljubljana’s energy efficiency renovation plan, our building II will require reconstruction work until the end of 2017. During this period there might be times when it will be difficult to enter school (other entrances might be used). We will also do our best to ensure that all lessons will be undisturbed and that safety is ensured. On 22nd September, as part of European Mobility Week, all grades from the international department, along with some classes from the national dept., took a walk to a local residential area and had a line dance lesson. The theme of 2017 mobility week is clean, shared and intelligent mobility. To start proceedings, the school’s drums group gave a typical vivacious rendition of one of their compositions. This was followed by Ms Čepič captivating the students with her usual energy and enthusiasm for dancing to many popular songs of the day. The sun welcomed us too!
