On Friday, the 1st of September, the 2017/18 school year began in the dome with an introduction by, first, Ms Irena Šteblaj, DKIS headmistress, then, Ms Mojca Mihelič, the headmistress of the whole School. As part of Ljubljana’s energy efficiency renovation plan, our building II will require reconstruction work until the end of 2017. During this period there might be times when it will be difficult to enter school (other entrances might be used). We will also do our best to ensure that all lessons will be undisturbed and that safety is ensured.

Danila Kumar International School hosted two ACES cluster Category 3 workshops: the PYP Inquiry and the MYP Understanding the MYP. Although it was very hot on 28 and 29 August in Ljubljana and the workshops were very long (10 45 minute sessions per day) as well as exhausting, they were also very productive.
