On Thursday, 16th April, the 6m students had a cultural day, in which they entered the Ljubljana Puppetry Theatre virtually and enjoyed a puppet show online via the available links generously provided by the theatre company. Like any other cultural day, we had an introductory lesson prepared by Ms Anja Podreka, who has also worked at the Ljubjana Puppet Theatre. They focused on observing drama skills and concepts prepared by the Drama teacher Ms Mateja Kores. Following the performance, we had an online discussion and reflection via Teams. It was a very fruitful collaboration and both teachers were pleased with the enthusiasm and work the pupils showed throughout the day. We concluded with a short visible thinking routine reflection, which brought the end to a very successful cultural day.

The Students of 8th grade explored the concept of Contemporary drawing. They became acquainted with many artists in this field of art. Their task was to experiment with objects and realistic line drawing. Their themes are different, but they convey a similar sense of humour.
