Handwriting week
From 23rd January until 27th January we will pay special attention to handwriting and the role it plays in the learning process, communication with our work, school community and our loved ones. The topic this year is “Write slowly and calmly.” When we are writing by hand we can focus and be mindful about how and what we write. Slowing down is a quality that is often overlooked in this rapidly changing world and can help us reflect on our own thoughts, too.
We are collecting your work until the 3rd of February.

On Friday, 27 January, grades 1M to 5M are going to see a children’s opera based on a fairy tale by Svetlana Makarovič at Cankarjev dom. As this is a classical music event at a cultural institution, students should dress nicely for the occasion.
The timetable for the day is:
8.20 am – 9.05 am – 1st lesson dedicated to the performance we are going to see
9.10 am – 9.55 am – snack during 2nd lesson
9.55 am – 10.10 am – recreational break
10.15 am – leaving for Cankarjev dom by bus
11.00 am – performance
12.00 pm – leaving for school by bus
12.30 pm – arrival back to school, end of cultural day / lunch / AP
